Diesel Repair FAQ
Do you work on all three diesel brands? Yes. Cummins in RAM trucks, Duramax in GM trucks, and Power Stroke in Ford Super Duty, plus the 3.0L diesels in half-tons and SUVs (Duramax 3.0L and EcoDiesel).
My truck is in derate / limp mode. Can you fix that? Usually, yes. Derate is the truck protecting itself, most often an emissions or DEF fault. We diagnose the actual cause before replacing parts.
My DPF light keeps coming on. Do I need a new DPF? Not always. Frequent short trips prevent normal regeneration; we check soot load, sensors, and regeneration history first. A forced regen or a sensor repair may be all it needs.
Is some of this covered by a recall? Some is. Certain fuel pump and EGR cooler issues are covered on specific VINs and years. If yours qualifies, the remedy may be at the dealer at no charge, and we’ll tell you before quoting anything.
Do you service fleet diesels? Yes. Work trucks and small fleets, with maintenance plans built around keeping trucks on the road.
