Supertech wasn’t born in a boardroom — it was built in a driveway by a working technician who believed that if you do things the right way, every time, people will notice.

In 2011, founder Mike De Ciantis started with nothing but a van, a toolbox, and a simple mission: Do great work. Be honest. Take care of people. The business began with mobile inspections on Vancouver Island, providing unbiased assessments for dealerships tired of shortcuts and guesswork. The original plan didn’t include repairs — it was about delivering the truth. But the market had other ideas.

Dealers trusted Mike’s work so much they pushed him to handle the repairs too. What began as a one-person operation evolved quickly, eventually leading to a tiny one-bay shop beside a house in Nanaimo. With only enough room for one technician, Mike worked outside in the rain, heat, and snow — no excuses, no shortcuts, just craftsmanship. By 2016, that driveway operation had become a modern 10-bay repair facility. And it was only the beginning.

2020: Supertech Comes to North Vancouver

The next evolution was bringing Supertech’s philosophy and systems to the Lower Mainland. In 2020, we opened SuperTech Auto Repair North Vancouver — now a fully modernized 9-bay auto repair facility serving import, domestic, and European vehicles with industry-leading accuracy, transparency, and precision.

From everyday maintenance to advanced diagnostics, this location was built to solve the problems most shops shy away from. The North Shore deserved a repair shop that operated with integrity, clarity, and professional-grade workmanship — and that became the DNA of this location.
